History: The Palace Hotel Southern Cross provides a glimpse of the town’s former
gold-rush glory. This Beautiful Heritage listed Hotel was originally built in 1911 and recently renovated between 2019 and 2023 by the current owners.
Features: The original-colored Stained glass still shines bright in many windows and doors, and along with the beautiful Art Deco glass added to certain areas in the 1930's, is all well worth the visit. It is amongst the best preserved Heritage buildings in Rural WA.
Clientele: The hotel accommodates Tourists, Groups of all sizes and Professional Work Crews, whilst providing delicious homemade meals, optional packed lunches/breakfasts and accommodation with a total of 80 rooms including King Single, Queen, Triple and Quadruple family rooms.
Amenities: All of the rooms have reverse heat/aircon, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Tea-Coffee making facilities and a bar fridge. There is an onsite laundromat with washers & dryers.
