Wildlife Sanctuary

The Parnana Pikurtu Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the township of Moorine Rock, within the Nulla Nulla Farm Retreat. The sanctuary rescues, cares for and rehabilitates injured, sick and orphaned wildlife.

The sanctuary’s name comes from the Kaalamaya language of the Kaprun People and loosely translated means the Kangaroo’s Place (pronounced "Pana Pikurtu").

Parnana Pikurtu Wildlife Sanctuary is a registered charity that coordinates educational visits for local schools as well as volunteer programs for young people with a disability.
